Descrizione di prodotto
Overview
Tungsten Alloy Circle is a tungsten-based heavy alloy manufactured with a tungsten matrix and additions of nickel and iron. It combines high density, high strength, excellent radiation absorption capacity, a low thermal expansion coefficient, and favourable thermal conductivity, machinability, and weldability. It also possesses a degree of ferromagnetism and is environmentally friendly and non-toxic. These properties enable its extensive application in radiation shielding, industrial ballast, aerospace, and defence sectors, making it an ideal alternative to traditional materials such as lead.

Tungsten Alloy Circle Application
Tungsten Disc Process
① Select high-purity tungsten powder (≥99.95%), nickel powder, and iron powder. Blend the components in a mixer for 8–12 hours following the ratio of ‘85%–97% tungsten, 3%–15% nickel-iron’, with binder added to ensure uniform powder dispersion.
② Pour the mixed powder into circular moulds and form into circular green compacts via compression moulding or cold isostatic pressing. Ensure uniform density, absence of cracks, and dimensions close to the final product.
③ Place the deburred green compacts in a hydrogen-protected furnace for sintering at high temperature for 3–6 hours. This bonds the tungsten particles with the nickel-iron binder, forming dense circular tungsten-nickel-iron alloy blocks.
④ The sintered ingots undergo turning and grinding to ensure roundness, perpendicularity, and surface finish; heat treatment is applied in certain scenarios to optimise mechanical properties.
⑤ Density, hardness, tensile strength, dimensional tolerances, and other parameters are tested. Upon passing inspection, the components undergo surface cleaning and rust prevention treatment before final packaging and dispatch.
